Working from Home (blog)

Week of 3/22-28

This week I made a few instagram, facebook and twitter posts to keep the WT Equestrian Media active.

On Sunday I designed and post two senior Sunday posts. These are basically shoutouts to our graduating seniors and I usually tag them with #SeniorSunday. I ask them what their major is, hometown, who their favorite horse is and what is their favorite equestrian event to watch. When I post them on facebook I write a short writeup about their time on the team. I post these to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

I also made another post for International Dog Day which was Wednesday. The girls on the team love animals, horses and dogs included. With the changing times, I thought I would brighten people's days by posting

some pictures of the team members and their dogs. I posted with to all the social media accounts. On Facebook I invited our fans to share a picture of their dog in the comments. I made the main picture of Jr Catie McCharen and her dog Cooper because Cooper comes to all of our horse shows.

Throughout the course of this week, there have been many trends arising on Instagram so I decided to hop on the trend train. Yesterday, I posted #seeahorseshareahorse on our story and nominated our officer team and some of competitors to participate. A lot of the girls on the team participated and tagged WT Equestrian, which boosted engagement and raised our followers.

Next week I am planning on doing a few more trends, along with a Senior Sunday post and a throwback Thursday post.
