Week of 2/9-2/15

This week the WTAMU Equestrian Team hosted a home show. We had a great show, winning high point team on both days!

My favorite thing about show week is making advertisements for the show! I usually make a few different drafts and pick the one I like the best. Once I pick the one I like the best I post it on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Here is the one I made for this show!

During the show in also responsible for keeping up with placings and updating our fans on Twitter and Facebook. I also like to keep the Instagram story active throughout the day.

It can get a little difficult to keep up with placings when I am also showing and warming up horses, but I like updating our fans! After we are finished with both days of the show I ask my team members to send me pictures that they have of the show. This weekend WT Athletics photographer, Trevor Freeman came out on Saturday and took some amazing pictures of the team. I ended up using his pictures for the Instagram post.

This upcoming week, I plan to work on a brief article about the show and about our upcoming show. I also plan to submit my final draft for horse donations (hopefully) and work on more ads for the western show in two weeks.
